The new magnet student orientation will be held on September 7, 2010 from 4:00pm-5:30pm in the auditorium. Meet your teachers, tour the campus, and purchase uniforms, PE clothes and locks.

First Day of School September 13, 2010
The first day of school will be a minimum day for all students. School begins at 7:45 am and will be dismissed at 12:12 pm.

The summer bridge program will take place August 7-18

Campus Safety
Visitors to Le Conte must check in at the school entrance and obtain a visitor's pass. Ex-Le Conte / Current Hollywood, Fairfax, & Berstein students are considered visitors. Thank you for helping us keep our students, teachers, & staff safe.

Magnet 7th Graders Wednesday Performance
CONGRATULATIONS!
A group of our Magnet 7th grade students performed at Inner City Arts Theater in downtown Los Angeles. These students used short stories from Grant Elementary School and adapted them into short plays.

Composting Pencil Shavings
Help! Our compost in the garden is stinky because of a lack of brown material going in. You can help by composting your pencil shavings instead of throwing them in the trash. Our gardening noses would truly appreciate it.
