GREETINGS! My name is Mr. Dziepak and I joined LeConte MS this school year. I am teaching Life Science and Health to your student. I have enjoyed teaching your child thus far and look forward to continued learning and communications throughout the rest of the year. Please do not hesitate to contact me with regards to your child' behavior, performance and academic standing at any time.

I have posted in my classroom a running list of assignments for the students. I keep a close to current roster of assignments completed from my record book on the bulletin board for the students to see where their grade is relative to the students in their class as well as other classes.

Students are expected to keep a daily composition book/journal of daily warm- up/dispatch/thinking questions that they are to respond to at the beginning of class and then a shared class answer to the same question. This guiding question either concludes the previous lesson, today's lesson, or tomorrow's lesson.

All of their classwork and homework not in the composition book is to be kept in a pocket folder that is turned in on a weekly basis. Any work not turned in due to absence can be turned in upon return to class. Anyone forgetting to turn in work can turn it in the following day with a note that the parent signs identifying that they turned it in late. I look forward to a fun, happy, and successful year with your child.
