Parents: Please get involved in one of the following Parent Advisory Committees: Parent Advisory Committees School Site Council (SSC) - The purpose of the School Improvement Program is to improve the local school's total instructional program by assessing the skills and knowledge of the students and by providing supplemental services that meet their needs. Each participating school has a state-mandates School Site Council. The SSC is composed of six parents, four classroom teachers, one out of the classroom teachers and the principal. Compensatory Education Advisory Committee (CEAC) - The purpose of the Compensatory Education program is to meet the educational needs of economically disadvantaged children. Compensatory education funds supplement services needed to raise academic achievement of K-12 participants in basic and advanced skills. The CEAC is composed of parents ans works with the school to increase academic achievement. Both Parent Advisory Committees meet monthly.
