Each of your teachers at LeConte Middle School expects that you will meet your responsibility in contributing to the creation of a positive, creative, and efficient classroom learning environment. You can show your LeConte pride by doing the following:

• By being in your room and in your seat before the bell rings.
• By bringing all of your materials to class everyday and being prepared to learn.
• By always being courteous and cooperative to your teachers and fellow LeConte students.
• Also, for reasons of safety and in support of the educational program, students may not bring items that may cause a distraction at school. Such items include:
  • Electronic games, including game wristwatches
  • Radios
  • Walkman
  • Tape recorders
  • Cellular phone and pagers
  • Laser pointers

Such items will be taken from the student and will he held until the parent comes to school to claim them.
