LeConte Middle School has set the following standards as goals for student behavior. Each student will be expected to be responsible for his/her own behavior while on campus and should recognize the relationship between achieving academic success and meeting these standards of behavior:

• Students will assist staff in the creation and maintenance of a SAFE environment of study and fellowship.
• Students will strive to maintain DAILY classroom attendance.
• Students will take responsibility for being prepared EVERY day for class.
• Students and staff will strive to maintain a clean, healthy, inviting campus, where EACH person will work to create and maintain a community which is CRIME-FREE.
• Students will NOT eat or drink in the school buildings or in the PHYSICAL EDUCATION area.
